Water-Damaged Balcony

When it comes to waterproofing, you don’t want to mess around. The DIY sealant job on the walkway above this covered porch allowed rain water to soak through and destroy the wood below.

Our team investigated the root cause of the damage to make sure the repair was done right, top to bottom. We repaired the mortar joints and installed new caulk joints on the patio above. Next, we replaced the water-damaged wood with poly-composite trim and a bead-board ceiling. Then we finished it off with waterproof caulk and exterior paint.
